Lucy Olphert Sponsored Rider

There was a time when I had never heard of Lucy Olphert. Then somehow her page came across mine and I got excited with what I saw. Who was this amazing lady with mad riding skills, and what are these tours she speaks about? 

I soon found out that there would be a France Tour in the summer of 2022. I gathered up my references and I applied. I was on pins and needles as I waited to hear if I would be accepted to go. Who wouldn't want two weeks of lessons, showing and learning in France? 

There were many smiles when I opened the letter from Lucy saying I was accepted. There were equally as many tears when the circumstances didn't allow for me to go.

It was a few months later when Lucy posted she would be offering a virtual sponsorship. One of the requirements was to submit a video showing why she should choose you, so I got right to work. 

 After submitting my application I checked and re-checked my email multiple times a day. Then it was there. The email from Lucy. I was very excited when I opened it and found out that I would have the opportunity to train with her for the year.

Since then we have met virtually for a rider meeting. It was really fun to get to meet the other two girls that were also getting sponsored. I thought their accents were cool! I can't wait for us to get to meet hopefully in person during the Global Amatuer Tour! 

Lucy has multiple things she has us working on while we are off of our horses. I am so excited to be a part of Lucy's program and learn all of the amazing things she has already started teaching us. Part of my year is promoting myself. That is where my website and blog creating sprouted from. 

I hope to share all of the experiences I get to have. I also hope that lots of you apply to go on Tour with me!
