Passport Ready and Riding High with Coach Tara Kennedy
Bonjour, fellow equestrian enthusiasts! Today, I am thrilled to share my exhilarating adventure of receiving my passport just in time for a remarkable trip to France. What's even more exciting is the incredible jumping clinic I attended with none other than my esteemed coach, Tara Kennedy. To top it all off, I'll also show off my fabulous Harcour outfit, available at the Spruce Meadows shop.
A Passport Race Against Time:
As the day of my trip to France approaches, I feel both excited and nervous. However, a curveball was thrown my way when government employees went on strike. You see, I had waited until my birthday to apply for my passport renewal to get an adult passport. We learned of the strike the week we had our paperwork in place! Panic set in, but I couldn't let my dream trip slip away. Swiftly, I gathered all the required documents, visited the passport office, and waited patiently for its arrival. Thanks to expedited processing, my passport arrived just in time, allowing me to feel relief about my upcoming trip!

Jumping Clinic with Coach Tara Kennedy:
I also looked forward to Coach Tara visiting Vermilion for a weekend clinic! Tara is an exceptional rider and an incredible instructor who has guided me to become a better rider since I started riding with her. We have been so busy getting ready for my trip that taking the drive to Edmonton for weekly lessons has been put on hold.
Under Tara's watchful eye, we tackled various challenging courses, refining our technique and pushing our limits. Her expertise in providing constructive feedback was invaluable, and I felt my confidence soar with each jump. Tara's presence and unwavering support created an atmosphere of growth and camaraderie among all the participants.
After the clinic, Tara stayed with me at the farm, and it was a joy to catch up with her beyond the equestrian world. We exchanged stories, laughed heartily, and took adventures on the side by side, looking for a Moose or an Elk for her to see. We were unsuccessful, but it was great to relax and visit while we drove around the pasture. It was a reminder of how the equestrian community fosters lifelong friendships that extend far beyond the stables.
Spectacular Harcour Outfit at Spruce Meadows Shop:
As I wore my new Harcour outfit during our Pony Club ride this month, I felt a sense of pride and confidence. The outfit looked fabulous and enhanced my performance, allowing me to move freely and comfortably. It was evident that Harcour's commitment to quality and design was paying off – both in the ring and outside of it.
