Layla and I spent an amazing weekend at the <em>Edmonton Classic<\/em>, soaking up everything we love about the equestrian world while finding ways to give back. From breathtaking rounds at the ATCO Cup to the excitement of the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/onthehunteq.com\/\">On the Hunt<\/a> Fashion Show<\/em>, it was a weekend to remember!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Living the Dream at the Edmonton Classic<\/strong><br>The <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edmontonhunterjumper.ca\/\">Edmonton Classic<\/a><\/em> brought together some of the best riders and horses in the sport, and I was thrilled to be there with Layla to experience it all. The ATCO Cup was one of the standout classes of the weekend\u2014a display of incredible skill and partnership between horse and rider. Watching it from the sidelines gave me chills, and it was a privilege to be part of the energy and camaraderie at the show. I was especially excited to get to watch Jethro, who is Falcom&#8217;s sire. It was my first time getting to watch him since getting Fal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me, horse shows aren\u2019t just about the competition; they\u2019re about the connections we make and the inspiration we find. Whether it was cheering for friends, chatting with fellow riders, or being immersed in that one-of-a-kind atmosphere, I left feeling inspired. Layla and I had many chats with riders on <em><a href=\"https:\/\/goodhorseofficial.com\/\">The Good Horse Podcast<\/a><\/em>. My favourite was getting to meet Carnival, the Spruce Meadows-owned horse who was in the Tokyo Olympics!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fashion Meets Philanthropy: On the Hunt Fashion Show<\/strong><br>Saturday evening brought an unforgettable highlight\u2014the On<em> the Hunt Fashion Show<\/em>. But the evening was truly special, knowing that all proceeds went toward helping those in need. It reminded us that our equestrian community is about much more than riding; it\u2019s about lifting each other and making a difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Reflecting on a Weekend of Passion and Purpose<\/strong><br>Looking back, this weekend wasn\u2019t just about horses and fashion\u2014celebrating what we love and finding ways to give back. From the show ring to the runway, it was a perfect mix of inspiration, fun, and heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What\u2019s Next?<\/strong><br>Now that May is behind us, I\u2019m excited to keep the momentum going. Whether it\u2019s through new podcast episodes, upcoming events, or finding more ways to support the community, there\u2019s so much to look forward to.
