November Highlights: Big Plans, Learning Adventures, and Holiday Cheer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

November was a month of exciting developments, new beginnings, and a touch of holiday magic. From planning for the future to diving into inspiring learning experiences, it\u2019s safe to say November kept me on my toes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dreaming of Portugal<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This month, I officially started preparing for my upcoming trip to Portugal next summer. It\u2019s hard to believe it\u2019s finally happening, and I\u2019m so excited to begin making plans for what promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I can\u2019t wait to share more as the plans come together! Exciting News for Alberta North Youth Reps<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

November also marked a huge milestone for the Alberta North Region\u2019s youth representatives. The Youth Leadership and Ambassadorship Program (YLAP) I\u2019ve been working on was officially approved by the region\u2019s board! This means 2025 will be an incredible year for our youth reps, with exciting new opportunities and initiatives on the horizon. I can\u2019t wait to see how this program helps empower our youth reps to grow into confident, capable leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Day at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of my Pony Club journey, I headed to Calgary for a fascinating trip to the University of Calgary\u2019s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. It was such an eye-opening experience to learn about veterinary care at such a high level. From hands-on demonstrations to hearing from passionate professionals, the day was packed with insights and inspiration. It was a great reminder of how much there is to learn in the equestrian world, both in and out of the saddle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Youth Rep Hangout<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next up was our first-ever Youth Rep Hangout, and it was a total success! Daniel, a friend I met during the Alberta Equestrian Awards Gala, joined us to share his story of competing in the FEI at just 17 years old. Hearing about his journey was so inspiring, and it gave our youth reps a glimpse of what\u2019s possible when you work hard and dream big. The session was full of energy, excitement, and plenty of questions\u2014a great way to kick off what I hope will be many more hangouts to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spruce Meadows Christmas Market<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To round out the weekend, I stopped by the Spruce Meadows Christmas Market. As always, it was full of holiday cheer and amazing finds. I stocked up on some old favourites from the shops and discovered a few new treasures that I\u2019m excited to share with friends and family. There\u2019s nothing quite like the magic of Spruce Meadows during the holidays!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

November was a month to remember, filled with growth, learning, and celebration. Here\u2019s to carrying all this momentum into December and beyond\u2014the best is yet to come!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
