Equine Portrait Session | Ashley and Opal | Vermilion, Alberta

An Equine Portrait Session was the perfect way for us to celebrate Ashley and Opal’s amazing year they had together. It was the morning of Ashley’s graduation party and it was an absolutely perfect day.

Ashley had stepped away from jumping for a couple of years when last October she had Opal come into her life. The two of them were so much fun to see together and watching Ashley ride her was really a treat. They did so well together that they were the division champions in the 1.00M Open Jumpers and the 1.00M Low Child and Adult Jumpers. They placed third in the 1.10M Child and Adult Jumpers in the Pacific Equine Sport Ponoka Indoor Series. Ashley saw herself number two on the High Point Champion Leaderboard. Talk about a successful year!

We are so proud of Ashely and have been so blessed to have her and her family become such good family friends. We are also forever grateful that she has handed Opal’s reins over to Dolly as Opal’s next partner.
