Leaving the farm isn’t usually something that I would be excited to hear someone was planning on doing. I am in Megan’s case though! How exciting for her to be heading off to University to become a teacher! If there was anyone that would excel at working with kids it is Megan! When we first moved to Vermilion, Megan and her sister were some of the first kiddos Dolly met. Megan was the quieter of the two girls but she had such a way of making Dolly feel comfortable and at ease.
The day of Megan’s session the weather was beautiful. The sun was shining and there was a nice breeze to keep us cool. We drove out to a neighbour’s canola field and made our way to an old barn before heading back to their farm for some photos with Megan’s dog. Typical of an animal Finn decided to make the session entertaining by bringing us a mouse!
Megan has a lovely flock of sheep that she has worked on building and using as her 4-H projects that I was happy she decided to include in her session. When I think of Megan I think of her sheep and all the fond memories we have from 4-H.
Megan was also a member of the NMP Model Team. I loved her images from our Elevation fashion shoot. You can see a little look at some of those images here.
As I was leaving the farm, I felt a little sad that all of these wonderful young ladies I have gotten to know are all growing up too fast!
