Western Lifestyle Engagement Session in Wainwright, Alberta
Richard has been my farrier for a few years and over that time I have discovered that either I am horrible at reading people or the more than likely case, that Richard has an iron clad poker face. You may wonder why I would think this and the reason goes back to one day last spring. With seven sets of hooves to trim Richard and I visit while he works. Mostly we talk about horses but we do talk about our families as well. This one particular day I was teasing Richard that it was time to pop the question to his girlfriend. His reply was so nonchalant that I thought for sure it wasn’t happening anytime soon. You can imagine my surprise when the next week Kailee posted the news that they were engaged! What made their news extra exciting for me was that Kailee and I had been planning an equine portrait session and I knew that it meant engagement images were going to be the reason we met!
The night of their session was a perfect summer evening. Since I see Richard when he is trimming my horse’s feet and Kailee when she is doing makeup for my sessions, it was so fun to see them together. I use Kailee for all my makeup artist needs and if you are ever in need of an MUA I would suggest you contact her! You can do so HERE.
I am so excited and happy for them and it makes taking engagement images all the more special when it is of two people you can see are so perfect for each other.
